Bring your history across from another tracker. You see every entry before anything is saved, and you can undo an import afterwards.

How importing works

Bring your entries in from a file or from Clockify.
Match each client and person to the ones in NotForgot.
Check the list, then import. They become ordinary entries you can edit, and the whole import can be undone.

Exporting a file from your old tracker

In Clockify, Toggl or Harvest, go to Reports and open the Detailed report. Pick the dates you want, then Export and choose CSV. Upload the file as it is.

A spreadsheet works too if it has a date, a client, and either a duration or a start and end time. Save it as CSV first.

Getting a Clockify API key

In Clockify, open Profile settings (your picture, top right).
Go to Advanced and press Manage API keys.
Press Generate new, name it "NotForgot import" and press Generate.
Copy the key and paste it here.

A Clockify admin's key brings in the whole team's time. Anyone else's key brings only their own. After fetching, NotForgot shows which workspace and whose time came through.

How your key is handled

It goes straight from this page to Clockify over an encrypted connection. It never reaches NotForgot's servers.
It is used only to read your entries for the dates you pick. Nothing in Clockify is changed.
It is not saved anywhere, including in your browser, and the box clears as soon as the fetch finishes.
Clockify keys cannot be limited to reading, so delete it once you are done: Profile settings, Advanced, Manage API keys, the three dots beside it, then Delete.
